By God’s grace HE gives us grace to make errors, with lapses in good judgement, and other learning experiences as HE sanctifies our soul. HE always sets boundaries around us from when were born and ensures that each one WHO HE designated to be HIS elect. While some want to be leaders based on fear, seeking power, or amassing a following of people and other less-than noble aspirations. God knows the state of our soul continually. HE raises individuals to be leaders and demotes other from leadership positions in HIS Perfect timing. ‘If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body. I enlisted on active duty at Philadelphia MEPS on the morning of November 11, 1974 after taking the SEPTA El [elevated train] to the area. I had entered the delayed entry program on October 23, 1974. After filing in the paperwork, I left for Philadelphia Airport with some other enlistees. In slow motion, I watched as my travel voucher ticket fell into an escalator and was shredded. That required getting a replacement :-)
1. As a child I sought to be a soldier and leader of soldiers. By that point I had studied warfare for many years and was familiar with the brutality, challenges, risks, and bonds of trust for soldiers.
2. I certainly did not deserve to be a leader and was told so by tactical NCOs and officers on my way. I took what they said in bitterness and tried to learn from their comments as the sting of their comments diminished in my mind.
3. I strive to be a noble, honest and trustworthy leader of my family.
4. Thankfully none of us get what we really deserve from God, since all have sinned and we each deserve death. By God's grace, HE atoned for the cumulative sin debt of mankind on the cross and HE has set each of HIS own free.
5. I do my best to treat each person respectfully, honor those who deserve honor and offer grace to those who do not. I generally exercise good judgment

By God’s grace HE gives us grace to make errors, with lapses in good judgement, and other learning experiences as HE sanctifies our soul. HE always sets boundaries around us from when were born and ensures that each one WHO HE designated to be HIS elect. While some want to be leaders based on fear, seeking power, or amassing a following of people and other less-than noble aspirations. God knows the state of our soul continually. HE raises individuals to be leaders and demotes other from leadership positions in HIS Perfect timing. ‘If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty, which our more presentable parts do not require.
