I went in the army in 1989, at Ft. Knox Kentucky. Basic and AIT was through the 6th of the sixteenth Cav. Disney barracks. We were the last training class to be trained on the M113 troop carrier. At the end of AIT, myself along with 49 others were selected for further AIT training, we were the very first unit to be trained on the Bradley fighting Cecile at that base. Through excellence in Cav, I was able to gain two pay grades.. Lol, it's coming on to almost 30 years since boot, yet there's no doubt that I'd know drill Sgt Hunter, drill Sgt Arraroyo, or drill Sgt Ortiz..

I went through OSUT in 1984, D 5th CaV, 1st OSUT TNG BDE. 5 years before you and was a hold over for Bradley training. By 1988 every unit on Fort Hood had completed Bradley NET. By 1996 we realized a 12 foot tall, 25 ton vehicle wasn't very sneaky...
