Ok - Just in case your other MOS was Infantry - bear in mine I've been both, so I have no complaint against either job. There are just differences in how they embrace the suck.

19D was a OJT Job.. in the National Guard.. that's one reason why I have the MOS. My suggestion is get familiar with Armor if you are not already.. go out to Tank tables and experience Tanks firing and operating up close and personal.. hang out in Bradleys . Crawl all over them hangout inside. Remember if you F-up everyone can die. Armor doesn't forgive. In real life you maybe assigned 11B or military police as all 19D's in my unit. The Armor war ended fast... My platoon became small sniper teams then later Patroled as Military Police in Armered Humvees, that's when the carnage happened.. all IED"s. TBI's galore... I got injured in training and deployed to a Med Hold Unit at Ft Carson. Remember.. in a real Armor War... your the one in front of a tank...maybe 150 miles.. and there coming at you fast in all directions and from above. Make sure your compatible with Armor... same with Submarines. 11B and 19D make me a cripple.

31B to 19D? That’s going to be an interesting transition. Totally different cultures. I went the other way (19D to 31B) and I wasn’t a fan.
