Should I go to 25B or 25U SLC? Anybody been to either lately?

Selected for a Bn S6 NCO slot. It’s a 25U. Just looking to go as soon as possible to the first one with an open seat.

I don't believe there is a choice. I will say as a prior 25B, the MOS is competitive. There are a ton of SSG and above, waiting to be promoted because this path is (was) over saturated. It is well worth it though. 25U is not too shabby either, it can open up plenty of opportunities. It is somewhat saturated as well. In most of the shops I've been in, a 25U was the section leader/platoon sergeant/etc.

25B is very competitive. I made E5 as a B, but lucked out I could use the system to my advantage.

Well, regardless that's awesome! I had to make 5 as a 25Q =D. Then I reclassed. Well worth it.
