What can I expect as a prior service Air Force E-5 (1N0-Intel) reclassifying to Army 35F at Fort Huachuca?

Going into the army. 1N0 doesn’t convert to 35F have to go to the AIT

Fort Wegotyou! Actually the few months you will be there should be ok. Dry heat, decent base, near Sierra Vista. Intel is a good bet get your TS/SCI fast rank advancement thru MSG. Almost 100 percent selection for WOC. Great MOS! The school work is not too difficult, just pay attention to detail. Not just the MCOO, COO and briefing stuff, but things like unit placement artillery allocations .. learn the tables from the text and apply them to the PE's. PT is not hard, the scenery is amazing and the DFAC is not too bad. Best of luck :-) and enjoy!

He’s not an MOS-T because he is coming from the Air Force. He has to attend army BCT which places him in IET status SPC (Join to see)

SPC (Join to see) when I was there as a MOS-T, we had to. I guess things have changed a bot.

I came over from the Air Force as well. I was out for 6-7 years and went through Army basic. Once I got to AIT I was there as a MOS-T. I was able to have my POV and formation wise for PT we had to be there every morning. A lot of the other formations it was hit or miss.
