I am a 35F20, did 4 years Active Duty, had just short of a 10 year break in service and now enlisted in the TXNG, I was not told before hand but apparently there is a chance I have to "retrain" into 35F, anyone know if that is true? If so, how long is the course? Where is the course?

The reserve component and national guard has training units that conduct 10 and 20 level 35F training at Marietta GA, and Camp Williams UT. You can also be sent to Huachuca. It’s usually in 2 week iterations.

For the NG it’s stupid, retraining is at a nearby facility or base, for about 3-4 weeks
