How is that moving up he is demoted if you look at command he had and where he is going now. Yes he is to FL, but he is not AFSOC operational he is basically the PWO, running a smaller Security Force and PRIMBEEF.

CPO (Join to see) - Thanks for the question, Chief. This story is so lacking that I'm interested in hearing MSgt (Join to see)'s response myself. Air Force officer usually rotate every two to three years as a matter of career progression. Is it the same in the Navy, Chief?

It’s not temporary. Getting fired is a big deal in the AF nowadays. I am guessing that he needs a few more months before he can retire and he will be spinning his wheels for a bit before the bid him goodbye.

MAJ Ken Landgren well that's something interesting. I can understand a fire arm or rifle gone miss but really Goggles. Were these some high grade top quality goggles? Or some prototypes?

PFC (Join to see) - If the division commander says it is important, it is important to the division as well. I had a policy before departing an area to have hands on all the sensitive items.
