I’m currently about to turn 19 and my health benefits are set to expire from Medicare. If I sign up for TRICARE, can they take out deductibles and monthly costs via drill pay ?

No. You must set up payment to Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) through scheduled EFT or recurring credit/debit card charge.

The problem is not all months in the USAR are paying months. So without a paycheck how would they take it out. Hence, you need to set up automatic payment through your financial institution or credit card.
