Anyone have any first hand information to offer as far as daily life, branch detail chances, career path, retention, etc. of a 42B?

I'm a current ROTC MS3 thinking of listing AG high on my branch preference list. Thank you in advance!

Just out curiosity what is your MOS? If you get AG do you want to stay AG?

For the sake of simplicity it is much easier to stick with one branch. SFC (Join to see)

The chances of being branched detailed are high. The life of an AG Officer is very demanding. There is always something that needs to be done. You are directly supporting the Army’s greatest asset!

I would have to say getting branch detailed AG is pretty good. I'm currently in the AG CCC and we are split about 50/50 pure AG and brach detailed/VTIPD personnel.
