I read a lot of information about 67J officer and 15A officer. I searched a lot, but I can't find the detail about the difference of training course between 67J and 15A. I know that they train at other places each. I wonder how the curriculum and duration of the two branches are different. Is it right 15A officer trains BOLC at Fort Rucker directly? and Is it right 67J officer trains BOLC at Fort Sam first, and goes to flight school at Fort Rucker after? I think the flight training period will be different, but I wonder how different it is

Hey im happy to help you clarify this, but be aware the answer changes a little bit.
A 67J aeromedical evac officer goes straight to ft Sam Houston in San Antonio for med services BOLC (like a 70B or a nurse), and then from there to Ft rucker in Alabama for (follow me here in order)
1)SERE
2)"Common core" Initial Entry Rotaty wing + academics in a th67 creek or luh72 lakota
3) active duty officers go to aircraft selection (which you can Google the criteria of just to have a laugh because the grades are so subjective), NG and reserve show up knowing what they will be flying
4) advanced airframe (uh60L or M). 67J can only fly blackhawks
5) BOLC part B which revolves around big picture army aviation support and logistics
6) Aviation Leaders course where you plan and execute several back to back brigade level missions in a sim
7) Medical Doctrine course, which revolves around the history and legal pieces of actually being a medical evac officer. You can do this. You cant do that. That sort of thing.
8) graduation

For 15A, everything is the same, except at the beginning they attend a BOLC A that is basic officership with a tiny amount of aviation mixed in. 15A can select Chinook, apaches, or c12 fixed wing in addition to blackhawks. At the end, 15A do not attend med doctrine.
There are a LOT more subtle differences and when I was there med officers also attended BOLC A. Let me know if you have any more questions!
