ALCON:
Good morning, all! The United States Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) has an exciting opportunity for ground 68W's. Please see below for details.
Who: 68W's (ground, not flight) who are stationed CONUS
For what: We are studying the adequate amount of space needed in a ground ambulance to perform medical tasks on patients.
How: The volunteer's duties will consist of performing medical tasks on a manikin as they are called out. Volunteers will wear their regular uniform, helmet, and a chicken vest (provided by USAARL).
When: You can choose between one of the testing dates in July: July 1-3, 22-25, 29-31. One day will be for flying in, the next day testing will take about 3 hours, and the last day is for flying out. All TDY costs are covered.
Additionally, all medics participating will have their skills validated (TC8-800 signed) after participating.
If any 68W is interested in volunteering, please contact Dr. Conti at [login to see] (Office), [login to see] (Cell), or [login to see] (mailto: [login to see] ).
Thank you!
Very respectfully,
SSG Stefanie Marshall
