Exactly how does everything go down when joining army Reserve?

Ive googled and can't find any info on how things work when enlisting in the army reserve. Ive heard bits and pieces on how things work on youtube vlogs. One military youtube vlogger said your first swear in is the binding swear in, making you officially in the reserve , then you go to your unit to get issued cammies and what not then you go to boot camp. Did I not hear right?

Well first you need to get with a reserve recruiter, they will show you MOS's in your area, bonuses for those MOS's if any. Then you will have to go to MEPs, (now some recruiters will arrange for you to visit the unit). At MEPs there will be a physical and go thru you contract etc, you can walk away anytime up to the oath. Once you take your Oath you are locked in.
