How long do I have to be on station before I can submit a recruiter package?

According to the webpage, you have to be on station for 24 months before volunteering. If your branch manager is awesome, he/she will hook you up. I called my branch manager and he said that after 6 months, you can be DA selected so he told me to put my packet together and drop it and then call him, he will then DA select me, BUT, since I have a packet already going up, I would still get my locations I picked.

I believe recruiter is one of those fields where you can put together and drop a packet whenever. Recruiters and drills are always needed and the army will pick you up if they need you regardless of how long you have been stationed somewhere.
