And a little Coke. I am pretty sure that if the Army had a drink, it would be JD and Coke.

SMSgt Thor Merich - Any dilution of the spirit involved would result in it not having the desired effect

Get rid of that stupid Mandatory Retirement Date. It should be up to me to decide whether I have enough gas in the tank, not some arbitrary number.

1SG Michael Blount - It seems more mental than physical to me. I see young troops slow down and give up on the run. Physically I find that many folks do not push themselves hard enough. The brain gives up and then the body shuts down.
The last PT test I took, the Base general was also taking his test (in the AF, even Generals have to pass the test too). I didn't recognize him and no one acknowledged him until the end of the testing process. He was younger than me and I passed him on the run (barely). He wasn't a marathon runner either, he had a typical body style for his age. But he still did well and was a great example to all.

SSG (Join to see) - It does little good to dwell on "what should have been", but thank you for the sentiment. It means alot
