I am headed off to 88m school soon and I am wondering what it is like on FLW. I would also like to know what training is like, what I can do on the weekends, am I allowed a POV, etc.

In 88M school you aren't allowed a POV because you either walk or you take troop trans to the motor pool. Training is 6 weeks long and you will learn 3 trucks followed by 2 module exams, and a tie down exam. The training isn't hard but it is frustrating but your instructors will help you and if you study your red book you'll max out on your module exams. You get weekends off, but don't get complacent. Best of luck soldier. FLW is terrible with the weather and you may hate it, but once you leave FLW you will miss it after a while.

It sucks when you get your off post pass don't take it there's nothing off post
