I just got an email saying that I have a SLC class date for this May. Has anyone here been to Fort Lee in the past month or two for a NCOES? I am just wondering if they have made the ACFT the record PT test or not yet. Thanks!

Straight from the horse's mouth at the top of TRADOC is that no NCOPDS course ("NCOES" is an antiquated and ommitted acronym although still found in a few regs) will take the ACFT before it becomes official on 1 October 2020. I agree with the below statement that it's likely a diagnostic like we are arriving to do in my NCO Academy courses. Our warrant officer friend and his cohort are no different, despite what his cadre may be saying.

I will also add that if anyone gets dropped from a course for failing the ACFT, they should protest heavily.

CSM,
Roger that. I knew that the effective date is official come OCT 1, but I have heard talk from individuals that they were taking the AFCT at their respective NCOPDS, but I was not sure if it was for record or not. This is exactly why I wanted to ask, I wanted to see if someone had first hand knowledge. Thank you very much for your input and help CSM.
