yep. and you better be careful the your iron wasn't too hot, those damn ascots would burn like crazy.

We weren't even issued ascots. I don't know if it was even an option back in the day.

I retired at Ft. Campbell in 2000. Our Class A ascot had the division patch on it. Perhaps it has gone by the wayside as have many other things due to the political and sensitivity now rampant
