I looked at Google maps of the Rock can't even see were the Seabee camp was but then that was about 40 some yrs ago and I think I see were the Alpha Co shops were at near the end of the runway

July 1981. Laid over waiting to pick up the USS California CGN36 part of the USS America Battle Group, my first tour at sea. The humidity, monkeys, old coconut plantation, and stale cigarettes at the commissary store.
