Good afternoon Kerry.
I am a fan of doing things today since tomorrow is not promised. If it is important, I want to get right on it. That's always been my philosophy. I find things don't get any better or easier with delay, in fact it tends to be the opposite. Sometimes the most important thing I do for clients is to get them "moving" on things that need to get done so that tomorrow they can move into a safe place or get the help they need.

Hopefully you and I will continue to be prepared for the challenges we face since the LORD prepares each of HIS own for what we will experience. HE allows us to go through challenges to build our trust and faith in HIM and most poignantly to share our testimony of God working in our lives with those who He prompts us to. No doubt you are aware of your own personal cost which you are ‘paying’ for trusting the atonement of the Christ. I pray that each one of us who are YOUR adopted sons and daughters are demonstrating the love of God to those we interact with and that we are prepared to give the reason for our hope in YOU. ‘This will be your opportunity to bear witness. Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer, for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.’ [Luke 21:13-15 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown

I pray that each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or hears it are content in our current situation. I hope that you have received more good news than bad news over your lifetime. I expect that you are aware that the best of all possible news is the Good News of the Gospel. I pray for a sufficient increase of the fruit of the Spirit faithfulness and self-control for each of us. I pray that each of us lean on YOUR Word and YOU as we walk through life as we face challenges especially spiritual warfare. YOU prepare each of us for the challenges we will face as YOU sanctify the soul of each of us. By YOUR grace YOU remind us of YOUR Word and YOU enable us to demonstrate faith in YOU, to YOUR glory. ‘'Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.' [1 Peter 3:15 ESV]

I lift the adopted sons and daughters who are prone to worry and get anxious about what the future has in store for them and those they love, depend upon and who depend upon them to YOU. I pray that YOU remind each that YOU are in complete control of their lives and YOUR love covers them and protects them. ‘Therefore, do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.’ Matthew 6:31-34 ESV]

As far as unrighteous ‘leaders’ and their sycophants who use dubious methods and language to inspire, motivate, and move people emotionally the LORD is patient in judging them by HIS perfect justice and wrath. 'What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory' [Romans 9:22-24 ESV]

LORD, I lift up the most vulnerable in society to YOU including preborn children, disabled children especially those labeled as autistic and the ministries which help these people and those who care for them. including pregnant mothers-to-be. I pray that YOU motivate compassionate counselors with patience to listen and hear to speak respectfully to the pregnant women and girls. Help them to understand the value of human life and to place their trust in YOU. 'For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.' [Psalm 139:13-16 ESV]

I pray that you and your family members sleep well Sunday night and will each awake refreshed and healthy on Monday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Yes! Took me a while to learn this and glad to say I did. Being the youngest in a family had everyone doing things for me and they seldom listened to me but our Father turned it into good as He always does :-).
