How do you feel about raising the right to bear arms to 21?

If you are old enough to enlist and fight and die for your country, then you should be old enough to drink, drive and vote, damnit!

CPO Jack De Merit - Exactly right, voting used to be reserved not only for legal adults, but also put off to allow time to experience adult life, grow and learn about your role as an adult. When it changed, voting became emotional and about "do you feel like this is good for America" and has now evolved to "we're abandoning the world, you're a nazi" when you simply disagree. Hell, I'd say raise voting age to 25, the same age you must be to be elected to the House.

I "feel" as though jackasses have taken over the United States. I "know" the jackasses have no actual comprehension of what the Constitution actually says, except they hide behind the First Amendment to take away the Second Amendment and care nothing whatsoever that criminals break the law because jackasses "feel" sorry for them. Should anything bad happen to jackasses then those that are not jackasses or criminals will be blamed and will suffer. Note: Jackasses and criminals will not be affected but jackasses will feel better.

We can raise the age on anything but if one has not reach that targeted age will obtain it. The old saying is "If there is a will, there is a way"

CW4 Craig Urban - Can I get an explanation for the down vote? I didnt say every 18 year old is incapable of service, I simply said being 18 doesnt ALWAYS make you mature enough for service. Dont take generalized statements so personally.

SP5 Michael Cates - Israel knew how to handle things and did it. There's a wall, and the teachers are armed and ready to defend their students. Although they also have universal conscription for all adults, regardless of gender.

The draft dodgers argued if they had to serve in the military at 18 years old then they should be able to vote. The thing is, conscription was still on the books due to Tet but hasn't been in practice since.

I responded to one of Hoggboy's tweets about raising the age to buy firearms with this very idea, and was told the age to vote should be lowered and guns should be ripped from my hands and I should be kicked out of the country. The "tolerant left" in action as usual.
