PO1 William "Chip" Nagel
I ventilated a 396 c.i. Chevy mill in my 1966 SS396 Chevelle when a connecting rod and wrist pin pulled through the piston skirt. You could've thrown a cat through the hole that was left in the engine block. I was in my "formative" years when that happened. Replaced the 396 with a 427 (4 bolt mains, ported and polished heads, L-88 cam, etc., etc.!!!)

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Ooops, didn't catch the glib when I read that. You'd be surprised how many people have no idea about all the different racing series. I had some schmuck have a fit at me this past weekend because I was "supporting terrorists". I was wearing a Dakar Rally shirt that had the Dakar Rally logo on the front and a map of last year's route on the back.

Patricia Overmeyer - Some people are ignorant, and some are stupid... and on occasion you will get a pristine combination. You can console yourself with the thought that the person has to live every day with themselves.
