Use the GI bill. It will give you a monthly stipend as you get an education.

Doesn't SFL-TAP assist with this?

But, depending on how long you have left in the Army and depending on where you plan on residing, I've heard of some people submitting resumes/applying/interviewing for jobs up to 6 months prior to ETS.

CPL (Join to see) - Well, you certainly have some time. In about 6-12 months, you may probably start the SFL-TAP process. It's very in depth. Helps with planning/creating a budget. Resume building. All kinds of stuff.

I ETS'd in August, submitted applications in May, got a call 6 hours later. Had to explain I was still OCONUS lol but it works
