Good call. That is the least he deserves. Since he took an oath on R Day to support and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic... Lt Col Charlie Brown - nothing that he did violated his oath to support and defend the Constitution, that I can tell. He apparently violated the UCMJ, but a mere belief in communism is not a bar to service, nor is it a violation of his oath, without more.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - it's not prohibited in the regulations or law, and communism is merely an economic system--granted, it doesn't work, but we don't bar people from the military for believing in silly things, do we?
