In my Marine Surveying career I have inspected vessels with Cory Nozzles, Azi Pods and standard Propellers. I am waiting to check out one of these squirrel cages, aka Voith Schneider Propeller. Should be cool.

Computer controls the pitch. Can produce thrust though 360 degrees instantaneously
