Senate Democrats Announce $3.5 Trillion Budget Package to Expand Medicare
A big chunk of those tax dollars would also go to “combat climate change,” whatever that looks like. The story notes “Party leaders plan to fashion their agenda using a process known as reconciliation, a move that only requires them to stick together in order to turn their vision into law. It does not require the traditional 60 votes to advance. To help rally support and keep the caucus together, Biden plans to visit with congressional Democrats on Wednesday.”

We and they are already chained by debt - which btw, went UP almost $7 TRILLION under that last President, in 1 term! None of the last 3 Presidents or last 6 Congresses have done us any favors there. This President's proposals have all started out with "how to pay" for the spending - to include taxes (because of course ALL "government" $s are ours) - but the opposition party wants no part of a discussion about paying as-we-go. Sad.

The only way to every get control of all this spending is to fire the whole dam government and start over.
