Back in December I posted about trying to figure out a name for a company that I'm starting. The aim of the company is to help veterans in transition process and to hopefully add value to their lives. Anyways someone suggested "BackUp" which got me thinking about having someone’s back or 6. Which led me to the name OpSiix. Thank you to everyone that offered up suggestions I really appreciate your support and thank you in advance for providing me with some feedback on a logo!

I like the top one more, but from a business perspective... the bottom one is better as far as marketability goes. You may want to redesign your 6 because it looks very similar to Got Your 6.

The one last one is very similar to the existing "Got your 6" logo. You may be infringing on their trademark.

I like the Double Ouroboros but I'm not sure what it represents. Something you can do with it is "stylize a 6" in the center instead of the infinity/8 (basically convert the colors a little to make it look like a 6). I'd also suggest shifting the colors towards Olive/Desert (as one typeset) and Blue/Gold (as a second typeset)

Sgt Trevor Barrett - Let me clarify, from a business/trademark standpoint it's unclear "immediately" what the symbol represents at first glance. Like a flag, your symbol becomes a living representation of who you are as a company.

Take a look at a few other successful companies for inspiration. RP for example or Apple, or Wounded Warrior. I really like the symbol, but "I" (as in me personally) am not getting context from the symbol itself. In the case of companies like Apple, you get it from the product they are on. For RP, it's the platform (social media). For OpSiix, how do we contextually know what it is about?

Again, this is not about critiqueing (I really do like it), but you're building a product & brand that you want to be both recognizable and associated with a cause.

Sgt Aaron Kennedy, MS - great feedback...you would think something as simple as naming a company or creating a logo would be so easy... but honestly it has been two of the hardest things that I have done so far in creating this company. We have submitted proposals, gotten grant money, researched sensors, and all other kinds of challenging tasks... but I still think figuring out the right name and logo has been two of the most challenging tasks we have worked on. Thank you for your insights, I really appreciate it!

Sgt Trevor Barrett - Anytime! Let me reiterate. I love the double ouroboros, and I really get your struggle. I've gone through probably 30 versions of my Valor Books logo

Sgt Trevor Barrett - as a graphic designer (one hat I wear) I like the top one.

I read all of your input and responses as to the inspiration for the dragons etc.

I wonder if you need the “tooth” or is that a “tongue”? Maybe thicken the dragons a little bit?

Agree 200% on the “6” way too close to Got Your Six
