Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV) takes top honors and wins the $10,000 prize at the NET Networking 200 Businesses Event in Spring, TX.
VFV competed with (3) other really great nonprofits in the Texas area. Over 300 different businesses attended the event and visited each of the nonprofits that evening and voted on the best nonprofit. I was able to get into my Class A Green uniform after all of these years and even shaved off my beard for the event. VFV took top honors and the $10,000 will be put to good use for the mission to provide suicide prevention and reduction for veterans and first responders by healing invisible wounds through holistic modalities and providing year-round Warriors for Life Online Peer Support.
My wife Bella and my 90-year old Mother Wanda Burroughs provided support and help throughout the evening.
