LTC (Join to see) because Raymond Burr wore that car nicely. It takes a champ and that car together to look good. The fictional Perry Mason was that man. But in the Perry Mason movies those cars did not scream power broker.

MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi but when the top went down for an open drive through Dealt Plaza on a pretty day, it cancelled the door armor and became an unsecured cruizer. How awful. I can only imagine what the experts thought concerning design flaws.

PO3 Phyllis Maynard - Correct. I seem to recall his secret service detail "recommended" that JFK NOT be exposed in the limo like that...evidently they were shot down..overruled ???

Yes he was riding in a Lincoln convertible and I believe you are correct on the secret service. In fact, the guy that jumped on the car to protect the first lady, just passed away in the last year or so. I believe he was from Bismarck
