Let me muscle in on your Sunday!
Muscle Cars.
Corvettes
And a Heavy Chevy.
I know a lot of you folks love your Corvettes, and your Muscle Cars. In my family alone, my brothers and I had: A 67 Chevelle Super Sport, an Plymouth Fury II, a 1970 Buick Skylark with a Hurst Four Speed, and a Barracuda. Oh, and two Mustangs, three Camaro's, and an MG Midget.
Down where I live they have a "Rims on the River" show...and I dug out these few pictures to brighten your Sunday...and maybe bring back the memory of laying Rubber, Speed Shifting, Power slide, and the occasional Stall Out.
And the memory of buying a new transmission every once in a while.
Or maybe you remember the first time you went over 100 miles and hour, and when you looked over , your passenger was pasty white with fear and holding on to the door handle and dashboard with a grip that the Rock couldn't break.
You just smiled and floored it.
So fill in the blanks...pink slips, girls that could slide up next to you (no seat belts and bench seats!) and cruising in first gear in endless circles around the DQ.
Happy Sunday everyone!
Remember those muscles!

I am loving these pictures folks are posting, and their memories. My best friend hated selling his Camaro - for one of his quiet joys was working on it. But when the sixth kid came, his wife said they needed a car where everyone could fit. Never was a man more unhappy sitting in a Van. LOL

Yep, his and hers. My wife’s 73 SS Camaro and my 69 Vette. Fun times. Thanks for sparking some memories SGT Kevin Hughes.

Alan K. - As Golum would say (from Lord of the Rings) "My precious. My pretty." Wow, the Parking lot of my High School was filled with these back in 1969...MOPAR had a good run against the Chevy and Ford die hards.

Just picked up a 1951 Ford F1 at an auction. Has a 302 and C4 with 9” rear ended. Unfortunately, it was neglected, which adds to my retirement workload. Have to break out the tools and sweat rag.

Two of my older brothers would drool with your comment. I can't use tools, they used me to get beer and pizza, while they dropped the tranny. LOL
