You need to add the words “in Texas” to that. The rest of the country seems to do just fine.

The current power grid in most of the country can handle 20 degree temperatures just fine. The question is, what's up with the power grid in Texas?

SPC Kevin Ford - I really don’t know where they are located, but it is quite obvious that someone wasn’t ready for the drastic change in our weather. It has been over a hundred years since Texas got this cold, according to local reports.

PO1 H Gene Lawrence - did they lose poles and wire or just generation? Poles and wire can take a while to get up and running. Hope you have power now and getting back to some what normal
