As a Cavalryman for life, I am fond of the Fiddlers Green poem. I can appreciate it. It is unique. But some have mentioned to me it is offensive to other non-cavalrymen and that it encourages suicide. I disagree. Is it offensive to you?

To me, it sounds like some people are just searching for something to be offended by.

Fiddler's Green talks about going down fighting until there is no alternative, in Cavalry tradition, outnumbered. It has been around for decades.I think people will twist it however they want to make something a "thing". Allons.

Cavalrymen, dismount and prepare to fight on foot!
