Well the VA will take some time to fix. Also it is our responsibility to help our brothers and sisters as much as we can. Also look at you elected officials voting record and if they vote against your issues let them know!

We are trying to house veterans in a big motel. I will update this effort to make a difference. I have sources that coincide with helping, not blather and hate.

Sure, there is a motel in Graham, NC. It sits just off of I-85. It has been vacant for about 10 years. There is a note on the door about re-opening but that was about five years ago. I would estimate about 100 rooms. I was homeless a few years ago. this is important to me. I know of several veterans living in their cars as I was.
Sorry if I ramble on but the Bi-Polar is bad right now. The fundraising I am good at. Will keep you posted.

SSgt (Join to see), Is there a Web site or something where we can look at this effort and perhaps donate?

Has anyone spoken with the NC Governor about this little project to see if there is funding available, he is only 60 miles up the road in Raleigh... Maybe a little PR time in front of ABC 11 or WRAL might also get his attention! Doesn’t hurt...
