REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS
Having joy in the Lord brings the peace of God in our lives. Right now, our world could use all the peace and joy it can get. This joy and peace of God will surround and guard our hearts and minds. It will protect us when we submit ourselves and our problems to God; it brings joy and thankfulness into our lives; we are protected and embraced by God's peace.

"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!" (Philippians 4:4)

Sometimes, living a Jesus centered life seems impossible. Being joyful is overwhelming in the face of tragedy, obstacles, or opposition.

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.” (Philippians 4:8-9)

Think on these things—truth, honor, justice, purity, loveliness, commendable, excellence and worthiness. We need to live our lives "Praiseworthy" by practicing them in our lives. A life where these principles are reflected on and put into practice is a service to God—surrounded by peace and joy.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

When it is hard to rejoice, it is time to fill our minds with the things that God says to do to saturate ourselves and our minds. We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.” (Proverbs 23:7)

We become what we think about. The words that come out of our mouths demonstrate what we are focusing on and thinking about. If we are not rejoicing, we are complaining.

We need to be intentional about the thoughts that are creating what we become. We need our thoughts in front of us to keep our thought life saturated in God's peace and joy every day.

What are the things that make you think true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellence, and praiseworthy?
Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.
“Heavenly Father, please help me be intentional about the thoughts that are creating what I become. I need my thoughts in front of me to keep my thought life saturated in Your peace and joy every day. My thoughts will be on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Thanks, Gene. Every studied follower of the Messiah knows things will go from bad to worth before the second coming of Yahshuah. What we need now is our faith to grow and not to shrink back.
God bless you brother.
