I had a chance to drive the 66 Mustang GT today. It was 68 degrees today. The first trees are starting to turn yellow and fall is just around the corner. I filled up the tank and put about 6 miles on the Mustang today. It has a 289 4 Barrel, headers, dual exhaust. It has an Edelbrock intake manifold and a small RV cam. It has a factory Autolite 4-barrel carburetor.

I'll keep this post away from my wife, that was her dream car, except in green.

My dream is a 67 or 67 GT or a 1970 Cougar XR7. I inherited this from my belated Father.

What are your future plans for it? I had big dreams for my 93, but it's looking hard like it'll be for sale sooner than later.

To keep it. I drove it 1600 miles from California to Canada. It still runs okay. I just have to change the oil every once in awhile or change the battery. Cars in Canada rust out due to the salt on the road. This car is garage year round

My daughter thinks it's a big toy and she says it is smaller than the Challenger in the inside. I told her the Challenger is a lot roomier. I have never taken the young kids because there are no seatbelt in the backseat

LTC (Join to see) - There might be the mounting points on the floor behind the seat if you pulled it out. It would still be lap belts but it works for short trips. Or you could do like my dad did and throw us around from one side to the other! We lived! Hahaha
