He was moved, but not demoted. Government Service employees should have no expectation that changes in policy will never affect their position. If the Trump administration places less priority on Climate Change, there will be fewer of those Climate Change positions. You can disagree with the policy, but this guy is not a whistleblower, IMO. His cheese just got moved.
