Yes, there are benefits health and mind benefits to Meditations, I for one have undergone a form of meditation that consists of deep breathing to help me deal with the residuals effects of mild Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD, dizziness. It has also helped calm my anxiety attacks and has helped to manage back pain from herniated vertebrae disk, so that I take less pain killers. I equate the breathing to sending more oxygen and improve blood flow to the brain, and body so that it can repair it self.

Meditation heals the mind; exercise heals the body.

No PTSD. I am a practicing Yogi. I love them both as a supplement to my regular strength training and cardio.

Apologies, Sir. I simply meant that I do not have PTSD. I can only speak to the positive effects as a practicing Yogi.

Not to be confused with Yogi the Bear. Lol

((I don't mean to be flippant with the subject of PTSD. I care very much for the servicemembers that suffer greatly.))

CMSgt Stephanie McGirr, you made me laugh, Hey Boo Boo, I deal with PTSD and mild TBI residual effects, so humor along with Power Breath (meditation) helps a lot.
