Do you have a backup of your data? How often is it updated? What's your process?

I do versioning backups with Code42 Crashplan every minute.

Sorry to say but if your "backups" are local they're not backups. They're copies.

All hard drives eventually fail. A backup system that happens automatically is best. I prefer a periodic image to a local device, plus continuous cloud based backup. I use a 3TB USB drive for the images once a month, and Carbonite. That way, when the system drive dies I can quickly get up and running with my application and settings, then restore the changes to my data files.

I use Apple’s time machine on to a storage area network. I also backup important files on Google drive and photos on google photos. At the same time the files/photos are backed up on dropbox and amazon photos. Everything is automated. This applies to my family’s phone and tables as well.
