Uhhhh. Is this a real gun? I am so serious. This is a pocket .22 revolver. I am a big revolver fan but if someone shot me with this cute little Fisher-Price toy, I would be like

“Ok, who just hit me in the head with a bead?”

Seriously, is this a real gun and if so, is this a good man stopper?

Yes. I owned the 22LR version. I sold it after a few rounds/years. Nicely made, but impractical and other than the novelty, not fun to shoot.

SFC James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" - Because it's small it's difficult to grip and after each round repositioning is required. They make this in 22 Magnum too.

PVT James Strait Novelty is probably the best term for it.

Made in Utah. It is real but with that short of a barrel the ballistics will be poor at best. It is a .22 short so it will hurt but probably not kill (shot placement is always the key).

TSgt David L. - I've got a 4" 586. Last time I qualified with it as an off-duty gun, I was using .357 duty loads, and one of the younger officers thought I was using some type of "hand cannon"--can you imagine how he would have reacted to a 6" .41 or .44 some officers used to carry when I first started?

Capt Gregory Prickett - LOL Imagine that! The 686 I have is a 4". I have a Ruger .41 mag. I think I like it better than my .44 mag. Lots of fun!

PVT James Strait - we used to do the same thing when training rookies, but didn't use the real baggy pants. And no long guns, lol...

It looks like .22 shorts, a round we do not see much anymore. I have seen a .22 do as much damage as a 9mm and it is about shot placement more than anything.

SFC James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" - I found it pretty easy and you can have all the parts shipped to your door sans the lower receiver (it must go through an FFL).
