Sig Sauer 938, Walther PPK, Bersa Thunder 380?

Wife and I are looking at purchasing a hand gun for each of us. While yes, many of you own guns, we never have. Now that we are in a high density urban area instead of the country, we are very definitely looking at our first purchase for conceal carry/open carry/home defense.

From the looks and the feel I am gravitating to the Bersa Thunder 380. I realize they do not have quite the punch of a 9mm, but it should do.

Looking for feedback from anyone that owns any of the above models!

Also, if you know of any courses that go beyond the conceal carry course, practicing under duress, I would like to know. SE Florida (Ft Lauderdale) area - not even sure how to google it.

We have a P938 and really like it I bought a 22 slide which we use for training. Some of the Sig family which we tragically lost in a brush fire.

I have a P938, which is a great little gun. It is very accurate and very shootable, which means that it handles recoil like a much larger gun. A SIG P365 is also an excellent gun for EDC concealed carry. Your DD-214 is the only proof of training that you need to qualify for a Florida CCW.

My wife and son (29) will need the CC course. I found out today my DD214 is all I need. Kinda cool.

Not hearing any feedback on the Bersa though. At less than $300 it is very tempting. We can always buy into more guns down the road.
