SFC James Welch - It wasn't "only" a protest. They went there to STOP the electoral college vote count. They went there to stop the certification of Biden as President. They went there to find legislators to harm.
They built a damn gallow and were shouting "hang Mike Pence" because he did his constitutional duty and didn't try to do what Trump asked him to do. Even though in no way could he legally have given Trump votes, Trump wanted him to.
Trump STILL calls the election a fraud. In his speech he kept reiterating claims proven to be false that he won "in a landslide" and the election was "stolen" and rallied them up to go to the Capitol. During the chaos he said "we love you" and called them patriots.
Yes they 100% tried to overthrow the government. If you can't see that, you have issues.

CWO3 (Join to see) lol I see there were a good amount of vets that made it into the interior of the Capital. They should have know better. Its sort of like it was designed for those specific people to actually be in there minus Man Bear Pig! He just tagged along because he was high and looking for some press.

MSG Stan Hutchison That's very true but the ones that have been verified shock me officers at that! Its had for allot of vets to stop bring part of a collective group once leaving service. I wonder if 10 years from now if they will regret their actions
