WOW! So here is a first. I have been VOTED DOWN because the person who voted me down said I got my article from Fox news. Which by the way, did NOT come from Fox news, it actually came from a friend across the pond who was reading a local paper.
So...is this what Rally Points come to? Voting people down because they may or may not read or watch FOX NEWS! JEEEESSSSHHHHH!!!!

Sgt Albert Castro yeah, I guess...I'll try, but i'm just plain angry about it...it's one thing to vote me down over what I said, but to vote me down over my media source and IT IT NOT EVEN TRUE! Anyone can see where the source came from and it was DEFINITELY NOT FOX News... UGH!

Sgt Kelli Mays I truly feel your pain. Listen, I get it more than you can imagine. This whole culture is invasive on people who are not comfortable with being in a bathroom or shower with someone who scientifically changed their body. Then to have to process being in a gynecologist office with a woman who used to be a man who is having a baby....I get it. When some concept or individual causes you to drift into the ABYSS block them. You want to protect your frame of mind and you don't want to have a bad after taste once you have devolved to a place you normally would not have. OUR children and grandchildren who are not transgender are being subject to "a new developed culture" that will undermine what their developing mind is taught in the privacy of their family. I get you totally.

PO3 Phyllis Maynard Thank you Phyllis...and I am just trying to get a grip on the whole concept. I really am trying to understand the culture or process or ...well I'm not really sure ...only that I don't understand it...I am in no way saying these people cannot or should not be the way they want to be. It's their lives, there bodies, there minds and lifestyles...I am honestly and truly trying to wrap my head around it and I do want to understand it....that person took my post the wrong way....her comments were of "anger" and not from "gee, Kelli, let me try to explain it to you and maybe hopefully help you understand...but instead she was condescending, rude and down right angry. I still want to know how the children address their parents...and when the children become old enough, how is it explained to them. I think my questions are legitimate...because I think it's important to understand because I will one day have to explain it my grandson or to my niece or to someone I know that will ask me...and what do I say? as of yet, I have no idea other than to say...these people are different because they feel different. They think God put them into the wrong body...sexual orientation wise and therefore, they changed their appearance to how they feel....or something like that. You and I, Phyllis and others will have to explain this to our loved ones....I just want to be able to understand it so that I may explain it correctly....and yes, I'll never truly understand and I don't have to agree with it, but I will never condemn these people for it either.

PO3 Phyllis Maynard I am half Japanese...I have a daughter (actually she is my God daughter, but I practically raised her from the age of 10 (long story)) who is half black half oriental. Some kids can be cruel...this is when she was much younger.... why does your daughter look different from you? Why does she have darker skin. Don't get me started. LOL Have a good evening Phyllis.

Don't sweat it, Kelli. Haters gonna hate! Since Fox news routinely scores higher than any other cable news service, in terms of Nielsen ratings, there are obviously many who get their news from them and many who can't stand that thought. You just have to choose your battles and some are probably not worth fighting. I have had this "discussion" with others on RP and it usually just end in frustration for all concerned. Adults rarely change their minds based on the opinions of others.

Col Carl Whicker The crazy thing is my post did not even come from Fox News. It says it right on the post it's from the UK. She actually told me she was voting me down because I sounded like a FOX NEWS Commentator. Now that I've had time to think about it, that's kind of a compliment. LOL
