This article ignores one very important thing, and that is that we, as a country, have steadily moved to the extreme right over the past 40 years. What they are calling an extreme shift to the left is nothing more than a correction back towards the true center, not what passes for center now.
Also, they offer no evidence that Biden is mentally unfit to hold the office. A poll is not evidence. He is only 3 years older than tRump. Any argument against Biden because of his age can be applied to tRump for the same reason. So, pointing out that Harris would be the next in line is nothing more than a scare tactic.
This whole article is nothing more than a hit piece from an extremely biased source.

From the perspective of someone who was brought up in the 80's. We , as a country, have moved steadily to the left. Abortion, civil rights, same sex marriage, divorce, domestic violence, opening traditionally male professions to women (Law enforcement, fire fighting, military). In the 80's and early 90's my views and beliefs were considered far left. I advocated for LGBT to be in the military, marriage, survivor benefits, to the detriment of my career (my belief has always been if they can do the job, who they sleep with is irrelevant), today, I am considered an alt right racist, transphobe, and a host of other isms/ists for not supporting the plethora of different genders, believing in a secure border, believing that immigrants should be vetted, that if you have not transitioned, there should be a third bathroom, that biology trumps mental beliefs, just to name a few. My views, stances, and beliefs have not changed, what changed is the left.

LCDR Joshua Gillespie - I really cannot disagree, or find fault, with most of what you have written here. My only reply would be that most of the racism I grew up with was very subtle in nature. Inappropriate nick names for children, 'harmless' jokes, and so on. Go in peace, Sir.
