Always interested in new recipes ... not that I am real good at following them, outside of cakes and pastries, I tend to "wing it."

PO1 Kevin Dougherty this one is easy: fry the cube steaks in a frying pan, drain any grease. Add one can of crushed or cut up tomatoes. Peel and slice two to three potatoes. Put the potatoes in the frying pan with the meat and tomatoes. Stir all together and cover with the top. Cook until potatoes are done. Add one can of Italian green beans (or any type of green beans) .Cover and cook a few minutes until beans are hot. Serve and enjoy! One pan dinner! Let me know if you enjoy it! PO1 Kevin Dougherty

SPC Nancy Greene - Sounds very similar to what I call Swiss Steak, except I usually use a 1/2 to 3/4" thick chuck steak. 1 can of tomatoes, couple stalks of celery, an onion, and a couple of carrots, all diced. I usually add a little beef broth and/or some dry red wine. Cover and simmer till meat is tender.

There is a difference between rare and this. I've had chefs say they can't do this. I use an electric stove and a skillet and I'm no chef.

Some say if its not rare, then you're a barbarian. In that case, I say, so be it.
