Based on the responses in the other thread on this it seems no we can't all agree.
As for me, I see Joe Arpaio as among the worst that our law enforcement community has to offer and I am disappointed (but not surprised) that he is going to escape justice.

I don't like the Sheriff either, I think he is a jerk. However, ask yourself this question.........how many Federal Prosecutors waste their time prosecuting for only a damn misdeamenor charge.........with at most 6 months in jail? Not very many.

A local sheriff defies the court.....and the POTUS backs him up. Going forward, why should any sheriff or local law enforcement official pay any attention to anything a court might direct them to do? Pandora's box has just been opened.

SFC Dave Beran - Because you saw what you wanted to see. I don't think I heard Obama talk about Bush much at all during the majority of his Presidency. And he didn't say anything about McCain and his campaign crowds after the election either.
There is absolutely no comparison between Obama and the current President in terms of just generally being a decent person and good leader.
When POTUS starts doing something that brings people together instead of aggravating animosity, I'll be happy to point it out.

Dude never mind. You will believe only what you want. BHO was well into his second term and still blaming GWB for the economy, unemployment and racial divide. If you want proof all's you have to do is go to Congressional Library and read his uncut speeches. You will find as I have, numerous references to the previous administration. Including his final state of the Union speech. Have a great life. No response is required or desired.

Cpl Mark McMiller - So are you saying that all the reports of him directing his officers to stop people, without probable cause to do so, just based on the fact they appear to be Hispanic and may therefor be illegals.......and arresting them on the spot if they don't have sufficient proof of citizenship on their person.......resulting in a number of legitimate U.S. citizens being arrested and held even though they committed no crime......you're saying those reports are all false? None of that happened?
