LA police officer who posted letter to LeBron James reveals why he did it

Oh look another over dramatic post from a conservative...(the added typing, not the article). Why does it matter what shirt he is wearing either?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with what he posted. At least he's trying - how many other cops do you see reaching out into any community to try to create understanding?

The facts do remain though that the entire criminal justice system is flawed, it was set up to keep down certain people and it, along with nearly every other system in the US, is based in racism.

No one has ever said there aren't good people who are cops - but they are in a system that has been set up for keeping down certain groups of people for generations. Those are facts. Until we all come together to understand that and try to change the system to where police are actually, oh I don't know, preventing crime, solving crime and are rooting out those people who abuse their authority, then nothing is going to change.

I have never seen Lebron James say he hates all cops or that they're all bad. His tweet was about accountability. That was it.

So let's hope the offer is taken up and BOTH sides listen.
