Funny thing about all this is, we made it really hard to amend the Constitution on purpose. If you want to see what right looks like, read that document. Each article and amendment has a purpose that is up front and honest. Politicians could repeal or amend the Constitution at any time, but they won't because that requires honest debate and that is just not how politicians operate.

I fully agree with you.
The conversation that Tim brings mostly is the ability to have civil discourse. The willingness to listen to the opposing side and communicate with them to come to the middle ground. As well as referring to the constant division banter by the media.
I do see completely your point and that is exactly the way I see it too.
