Has anyone successfully added missing retirement points to their DD 249 after transferring to the Retired Reserves?

I transferred to the Retired Reserves in June 2013 after serving on both Active and Reserve Duty since 1986. At that time, I had not seen my 2011 to 2012 DD 249 tabulating my points. I asked for help from my last unit, but they no longer had access to me in RLAS. I tried the refional RSO, but they had no luck as well. I the tried HRC, but did not get a reply. The loss of this year represents 100 points, and I don't want to lose them. Any idea who to talk to? I submit for a Retirement in 2023, but want to resolve this while the details are still clear to me. Replies greatly appreciated.

First, I am unclear - Do you have a 249 that covers the two years in question? Depending on the answer to that question, I would have different responses.
IF you do NOT have a 249 that covers those two years, you may not have any issues at all. Simply get a copy and you are good to go. You should be able to order up a statement off of https://www.hrc.army.mil. Go to "my records" in the upper right, under "Soldier Services". You would either want "My reserve record" or "My retiree record" on the next page. Think you may need a functional CAC to get there - don't know if retirees get a log-in/password option. In any case, once you get the the retirements point page, you can view the current record AND download a 249 for your records. I believe the same and be done in AKO (though I don't know the path).
If you have a 249 that includes those years, but records no points - or wrong points - you will need to contact HRC. When you do so, you will need records (LES's, Orders, etc) to substantiate your service. You can expect it to be long and bureaucratic, so I would start now.....
You may end up having to deal with HRC directly, but I would recommend working through someone local. I honestly feel the "RLAS" answer was a dodge, RLAS isn't the system for updating points, IIRC. But I am not a 42, so maybe I'm wrong.... In any case, I would say that the lack of assistance speaks to an attitude, and I would pick another path... Your profile doesn't show your geographic location, but I would check to see if you have something called an RPAC (Reserve Personnel Action Center, I think) nearby. This is basically (for those involved, note I said "basically" - I know two people who have worked in one, and I am unclear on the details!) an organization that performs the Unit Administrator functions for several units in a geographical footprint. If you don't have one of these, I would try either the RRC that covers your area or the largest USAR formation within easy commuting distance.
I am not retired yet, but I had MASSIVE issues with my points record. I went through the local RPAC (having gotten the run-around, similar to what I think you are getting from the unit personnel "professional"). It took about 6 months of tactical patience, but it is do-able.
The sooner you move, the better. The longer you are out of uniform, the less anyone but you will care about making it right. That's not proper, but its true.

Thanks for your detailed reply. I do have my final 249. All years are included, but the year in question is missing. I converted to the Retired Reserves in June 2013, and lost most of my access. I can see my HRC record, but it is also wrong. The 99th RSC Retirement Office tried to help, but was unsuccessful. I sent all the paperwork you mentioned to HRC, but they never acted on it. Time to try again.
