Thanks for the explanation. I agree that their needs to be reform. Police can be paid more AND be social workers with a Master's like my Mother had. Police can be an operational art that can combine the ways, ends and means to mitigate loss of life. The minority communities need to also police their own. George Floyd and a few others were murdered. Many also did not obey the officer like the one shot repeatedly when not obeying commands and going to his SUV for a weapon. Chris Rock is right. Police fear for their lives too.

Capt Gregory Prickett yes, It has to be a new concept. They are not mutually exclusive if we had the ability to recruit a man/woman with that skill set. A new Police Officer with those skill sets. It will be an operational art and design to give the future Police Officer who has the patience, resiliency. A Black Female Social Worker LEO with a Master's in Social work would work well in black parts of Major Cities. This would not come cheap. It would prevent danger to an unarmed social worker. You get what you pay for and this is a revolutionary approach.

With that said, it's all prophesied to happen, so the country and the leaders of this country are just fulfilling what was foretold 1,000s of years ago by righteous men, so I can't blame them. What did Christ request of His Father on the cross? "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." But what they (the Jews) did, was fulfill prophecy, they crucified their God. I kind of get a feeling that the future leaders of this country are going to destroy the greatness of this country, because they "know not what they do." Most Christians will understand this comment. SFC James Welch - I agree with you on the debt. We have done a terrible job on fiscal matters my entire life, up to and including today. I was told by one individual the issue of the debt is old and no one cares about it anymore. Well I do. I am not encouraged as I look forward based on what I have seen looking back
