This is for all the Vietnam Vets on RP. I graduated from High School in 1969 and I have friends and High School Classmates on that Wall. Just know that this disabled Vet salutes your sacrifice and mourns the loss of your comrades in a War that we were not allowed to win.

As to your point. The failure in Vietnam can be traced (in large part) to the hubris, narcissism and arrogance of McNamara and the ineptitude of Johnson.

LTC Orlando Illi - Thanks for your input. While I'm not old enough to have first hand knowledge, I try to stay educated as to what has happened and how things continue to evolve for our military. As both of my Sons are both enlisted I feel that is the least we can do to provide the cover out military needs to get the job done. Whomever is in charge.
