It has been 12 months since I submitted my application to the army discharge review board and I haven't heard anything back other than they received my application and it is being processed. Has anyone had any positive feedback from the ADRB

Turn around time is normally 12-24 months for any of the boards. They have a POC number on their website and an email address you can contact to see where your case is, but keep in mind they normally won't give you an exact estimate of how long it will take. However, it is good to make sure that they received it and that it is complete, so as to avoid them having to notify you that your case wasn't processed due to it missing signatures or key items.

Seeing that you said to MAJ Chang that you were discharged in 2012, is this a question to see if your discharge was lower than Honorable and you are trying to get it upgraded? Or overturned? Some clarification may help receive a more helpful response.

No i had an honorable discharge, I'm trying to get the narrative reason for my discharge changed from medical to a hardship discharge I submitted proof that i don't have the medical issues i was discharged for. I'm just waiting to hear back from the board about their decision. I was just hoping someone has had any experience with getting their discharge information corrected through the board

PFC Dustin Atkins - Contact your nearest VA and see if they can procure information about that or, at the least, give you a number to call to find out directly. Or, go to the US Army HRC website and see if there is contact info there that you may be able to use.
